NAMBROK RUIN - History
This was the site of "Bains Hostelery" in the 1870s. Also located here was the Anglican Archdeacon's residence (also in 1870s). The hotel was situated next to the road to Sale which was north of the line of the present highway.NAMBROK RUIN - Interpretation of Site
Title search shows this block owned by the Anglican church in 1992 but former history not known at present. Was this a church?
