Statement of Significance
A two-manual organ of 16 speaking stops believed to have been built about 1929 by the Aeolian company, New York for the residence of W A Raymond, Heidelberg and installed in its present location in the 1940s. Apart from the removal of the original roll-playing mechanism, and the addition of a new rank of pipes, the instrument remains largely intact, retaining its original action, console and pipework, and is the only example of the firm's work in Victoria to remain largely unaltered.
