Statement of Significance
Church - A large bluestone church with yellow brick and cement details, built in 1876 to the design of Crouch & Wilson. The building is in the form of a hall church with nave and aisles separated by slender cast iron columns. The main facade incorporates twin doorways with unusual hood mouldings. There is a pipe organ by Fincham & Hobday with diape red front pipes.

Organ - A two-manual organ of 20 stops built in 1893 by Fincham & Hobday and remaining largely unaltered apart from the addition of a Mixture stop in the 1980s. The instrument is notable for its generous tonal scheme, the excellence of its voicing and its splendid case containing pipes diapered in a striking manner.
