Statement of Significance
A church in the Decorated Gothic style with an unusual ogee label mould over the west window, and designed to have a tower with a spire and oddly corbelled-out corner pinnacles. The architect for the work of 1861 was Nathaniel Billing and extensions were made in 1878 by Joseph Watts. It is of historic interest that the site had first been granted to and built upon by the Free Presbyterians, but this congregation had re-united with main body of Presbyterianism before the church was built.
