CHRISTIAN'S MILL - Interpretation of Site
The mill shed is located in the south-east corner of the site and would originally have measured approx 18mx9m. The remains indicate the mill was powered by a separate boiler and a stationary engine. A dam above the mill provided water for the boiler. The remains also indicate the mill was elevated. Remains of the settlement include stone chimney foundations and the remains of two stables with extensive drainage lines.
