A building committee was formed for a new hall in July 1953. The contract for the building of the new hall was let to Mr. J. Hull of Stawell. The building commenced in 1957 and was officially opened on January 29th 1958. The title on the building states it was constructed in 1957, as a memorial to the soldiers who fought and died in the Second World War.
