Statement of Significance
Rare or Localised:
One of the largest known examples of a species and uncommon in cultivation in Victoria. (The best example is near the Kiosk opposite the Ballarat Botanic Gardens). Smaller specimens occur in the Maryborough, White Hills and Melbourne Gardens. This tree has a lean to the north-east. The Arlanthus suckers should be removed abd regular maintenance undertaken. The tree is located in Robert Wain Reserve on the corner of Guthridge Parade and Montgomery Street, Sale.
