Heritage Inventory History of Site: The church was removed in 1962
ST ANDREWS CHURCH OF ENGLAND SITE, FOSTERVILLE - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: The church was a weatherboard building supported on stumps with a corrugated iron roof. A pathway lead from the road, up some log steps, through an entrance in the post and rail front fence to the front of the church. The former position of the church is marked by the convergence of three surviving pieces of evidence: the termination of the pathway on the north side, an inverted L-shaped mound on the east side with an alignment of stones and in situ post, and three stumps in an alignment on the west side.
Heritage Inventory Description
ST ANDREWS CHURCH OF ENGLAND SITE, FOSTERVILLE - Heritage Inventory Description
The former church site is a roughly level area measuring approx. 18mx31.5m on the south side of the Fosterville Forest Road in the old Fosterville township; it is bounded by a composite post-and-wire and post-and-rail fence. There are some tall eucalypts growing on the allotment but it still remains fairly clear and definable. A commemorative stone is located at approx the centre of the site.

The low level ruins and commemorative stone which are now located in a natural setting present an aesthetically pleasing picture. The site may have social significance to the older residents who live in the district.
Heritage Inventory Site Features: road, log steps, timber rails, pathway, commemorative stone, sandstone blocks, mound, stones, fence posts, braces, trees, diagonal brace Heritage Inventory Key Components: Boundary fence, some former floor stumps, a pathway and an inscribed commemorative stone.
