As on the original inventory. The building is also within the boundaries of the subdivision of Boorgunyah: a 'Township surveyed and proclaimed in 1859 although the township never developed (http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~surreal/AVNE/Towns/towns-wodonga.html#boorgunyah)
A search of the Parish and geological plans and general historical texts regarding Wodonga has not revealed further information regarding the history of this site.Heritage Inventory Description
HS(A)-5 - Heritage Inventory Description
Site of former Barnawartha North Post Office (now a farmhouse) and 3 associated outbuildings. Construction date uncertain but probably early 20th century. Also remains of stockyard, two other outbuildings and historic vegetation.
Heritage Inventory Significance: High - site of considerable local significance and provides a good example of timber log frame construction used in outbuildings.
