Statement of Significance
Probably designed by Thomas Dalziel for the Chiltern Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows, this very simple rectangular single storey brick building with narrow arch headed windows was opened in 1864 and had to be largely re-built after a severe storm in 1878.
The building was later used as an Anglican Church, a school, a public meeting hall, auction rooms and in the early 1900's as a skating rink.
Demolished c.1990.
