HOUSE - Physical Description 1
This large single storey brick villa is of interest for the two projecting bay windows which are reflected in the roof, and emphasised by the verandah following their outline. The veranda returns on both sides and is supported by cast iron columns with brackets of a radial pattern terminating in pendants drops below a band of frieze iron between timber horizontal members. The centre of the street facade is marked by a gablet rising from the verandah which terwinates in an elaborate -cast iron finial. It would appear that a central entrance' way' between the bay windows has been bricked in, although the band of cream brickwork has been continued. The elaborate chimneys are of a Tudor design with 'cream brick trim. Thebuilding appears to be substantially intact, and is an important element in the environmental area.
