TRUGANINA MUNITIONS RESERVE SITE - History
Site of Henry Robinson's farm from the late 1800s. Margaret Robinson listed as owener by late 1880s. Henry Robinson owned it by mid 1890s. From 1938 government proceeded to purchas Robinson's farm and constructed a munitions depot and army stables on site.TRUGANINA MUNITIONS RESERVE SITE - Interpretation of Site
Former farming property of Henry Robinson.. From late 1930s the property functioned as a munitions storage facility until after WWII. The site is currently vacant.
TRUGANINA MUNITIONS RESERVE SITE - Archaeological Significance
An accurate assessment of the site cannot be made as it was recorded from the road. There is potential for archaeological evidence to remain including structural remains, a tramway system and artefacts, which relate to the construction and use of the munitions reserve. Some disturbance has occured. It appears that a bluestone structure in the northeast corner of the site has been demolished in recent times.
TRUGANINA MUNITIONS RESERVE SITE - Historical Significance
The site is of local historical significance for its association with the Robinson family who were local farmers from the late 1800s and for its association with defence during and leading up to the Second World War.

TRUGANINA MUNITIONS RESERVE SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
The munitions reserve is a complex of extant buildings and landscape features including mature plantings and a possible tramway. A mound of building rubble including blueston and brick is located in the northwest corner of the site and relates to the demolition of a structure in this location.
