Statement of Significance
C Listed - Local Significance
6 Little Maud Street is a locally significant property of architectural and historic importance. It is a representative example of Early Victorian housing of a type which was once common in inner Geelong. The house is substantially intact, retaining its characteristic form and a number of typical Victorian features. It has historical associations with the Horsley family, owners of several local properties.

Residence - Physical Description 1
6 Little Maud Street is a symmetrical double fronted timber cottage with a rear skillion. The residence features a corrugated iron M-shaped gabled roof, and simple convex verandah, as well as typical Early Victorian details including double hung sash windows, timber verandah posts, and iron lacework. The building is surrounded by a garden and has a timber fence along the front of the site which is not appropriate to the style of the building. A more sympathetic colour-scheme would enhance the building.
