Contribution to historic garden
Outstanding example of species
The wide spreading rounded crown of symmetrical form and large height makes this tree a significant feature in the gardens. The species is uncommon in Victoria and this tree is the finest example known in cultivation. The species is distinguished by its large smooth leaves, oblique base and one side rounded and curving into a vein first.
The tree is located approximately in the centre of the gardens.
