Outstanding Example of Species
An outstanding mature example of this Western Australian native. The tree has a large spreading crown and is set in a small island garden surrounded by a crushed rock carpark. Minor signs of stress are evident and some epicormic growth, otherwise the tree is in good condition. Other mature specimens are known at the Williamstown Botanic Gardens, Eastern Park, and Barragunda. Loyola College was built as a Jesuit Novitiate and opened in 1934. The complex is set in extensive landscaped gardens.
