Contribution to landscape
Standing as a dramatic monolith in the flat landscape of this small rural cemetery, this tree is notable for its upright and compact crown. It is an outstanding example of a species commonly planted in Victorian cemeteries. Other species in the cemetery include Washingtonia robusta, Washingtonia filifera, Nerium oleander and Cotoneaster spp.
