Original grantee John Wollaston commenced subdivision of this corner in 1850. Owned by Mrs. Skinner c.1854-5 with ratebook entry for single storey brick pair of 3 rooms each. Possible boarding house use in 1860s and 1870s. Building remodelled c. 1865.By 1871 purchased by Mr. John Glavin (owner of adjoining Exploration Hotel).1880 Panorama - shows row of buildings along Little Lonsdale Street.1905 - 2 storey building.
