SITE HAS BEEN USED FOR GROWING GRAPES FOR WINE, DRIED FRUIT AND TABLE FRUIT FOR 110 YEARS. GROUND HAS BEEN REGULARLY PLOUGHED DURING THIS TIME, DISPERSING THE FRAGMENTS. MANY OF THE VINCES ARE ORIGINAL VINES BROUGHT FROM ENGLAND 110 YEARS AGO.KOORLANG AVENUE H1 SCATTER - Interpretation of Site

FRAGMENTS OF WHITEWARE INCLUDING HANDLE RIM, FRAGMENTS OF BLUE TRANSFER CERAMIC, THICK GREEN GLASS BOTTLE BASE WITH LETTERS (ING), BROWN PATTERN CERAMIC FRAGMENT, GLAZED SERVING DISH TYPE FRAGMENTS.
Physical Conditions: SPARSE SCATTER OF CERAMIC AND GLASS FRAGMENTS OVER AN AREA OF 80X40M. ARTEFACTS ARE LOCATED BETWEEN ROWS OF GRAPEVIUNES, SOME OF WHICH ARE OVER 100 YEARS OLD.
