STONE RUINS - History
1839: land is taken up by Dugald McLachlan - part of the Glaengower pastoral run.
1854: discovery of gold in the area leads to reduction in size of pastoral run
ca.1860-1869: Donald Campbell managed, then purchased the run
1900: Allotment 27A of Section 1, Parish of Campbelltown was granted to A. Saligari
a later owner was called Schultz
STONE RUINS - Interpretation of Site
The structure, probably erected in ca.1860s, relates to the early European settlement of land in the area for agricultural and mining purposes.

STONE RUINS - Heritage Inventory Description
Stone structure, building material scattersand exotic trees. Building is small and rectangular with no roof. Remaining stone gable wall indicates that it originally had a steeply pitched gable roof. The walls are very thick and built of roughly squared field stones
