Johnson Memorial Shelter - Veterans Description for Public
The Johnson Memorial Shelter, inside St. Vincent Gardens,was erected in 1916. The shelter is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Frederick Miller Johnson killed at Gallipoli on 29th November 1915. The epitaph reads "He died as he lived, nobly doing his duty."
