Heritage Inventory History of Site: The house has been a ruin for at least thirty years.
ARMSTRONG NO.2 - Interpretation of Site
Heritage Inventory Interpretation: An early homestead. The use of mudbrick is very unusual. The use of brick for the foundations suggests that the house was built in the mid to late 19th century.

ARMSTRONG NO.2 - Heritage Inventory Description
House ruin. The wall foundations are of double hand made brick. The walls were mud brick. There is a concrete slab to the rear and low mounds of debris. To the west of the house there is a circular brick cistern and a square brick lined pit. There is a remnant garden with mature pines and peppercorn trees.
Heritage Inventory Significance: The house is of local historical significance. It has archaeological potential and is a rare example of the use of mudbrick for domestic architecture.
