Statement of Significance
The shop at 15 Alma Street, St Arnaud, is historically and architecturally significant at a CONTRIBUTORY level. It is associated with commercial developments in St Arnaud in the early 20th century and demonstrates important design qualities. These qualities include the rendered curved parapet with the capped moulded end pillars and string coursing, the gently bull nosed sloping street verandah with galvanised corrugated lapped verandah roof cladding.
