Statement of Significance
The chock and log fence is a remnant of the late 19th century/early 20th century fences which are found in several locations in this district. The fence indicates the settlement of land in the area for agricultural purposes. It is of importance for its potential to provide information that contributes to a greater understanding of the history of the settlement and establishment of the district, and has a strong presumption of archaeological research potential. Further historical research and archaeological investigation is recommended.
