The Golden Bar Extended Co. was in operation between 1903-12. In 1907 a new battery was erected adjacent to the company's existing winding engine and air compressing plant. The plant was removed in 1916.

GOLDEN BAR EXTENDED MINE SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
Features of the Golden Bar Extended mine site are a mullock heap, mining machinery beds, a gas-producer stand, chimney stack base, and boiler setting.
Heritage Inventory Significance: The site has scientific significance because of its range of features and rarity. It has network values as it is associated with Golden Bar and New Golden Bar mine sites.
Heritage Inventory Key Components: Mullock heap - Heap has largely been quarried away. Mining machinery - A brick, tank-like winder bed, 18 ft x 12 ft x 7ft high. The engine bed has been demolished and all mounting bolts have been removed; but there is a possibility of footings beneath the brick rubble. Gas producer stand - Concrete, 5ft-square at base, 7ft high, with a 2ft-diameter impression where the gas-producer was mounted. Chimney stack base - Concrete, 3¢ ft square, 5 ft high. Boiler setting - Concrete boiler setting, 21 ft x 6 ft, with 1¢ft-thick walls. Heritage Inventory Site Features:
