MOUNT EGERTON GOVERNMENT BATTERY - Heritage Inventory Description
Working battery. Small A-framed iron battery shed, with adjoining furnace room. The latter has a small galvanised iron stack./nWater dams. To the north of the battery shed are two large (full) water dams. Now one of only six intact government batteries in the State: the other being Creswick (1902), Rutherglen (1902), Wedderburn (1905), Maldon (1914), and Bright (1950s).
