DEEP LEAD MINE SOUTHERN END OF SNAKE VALLEY LEAD (2) - Heritage Inventory Description
Site 46.05 is a small deep lead mine. It consists of a shaft depression with a 12m diameter horse puddler, in poor condition on the north side of the shaft, a single finger of mullock 25m long extending east from the shaft, and a flat topped mullock heap 12m in diameter south of the shaft. This flat-topped mullock heap may be a whim platform. All the features around the shaft are between 1.5 and 2 m high. Although the fine detail of these features has been lost through grazing, their basic shape and form are still sound.
