HO250 - Plenty Methodist, later Uniting Church, 171 Yan Yean Road, Plenty - Physical Description 1
DESCRIPTION
This is a simple weatherboard gabled church of a simple but conservative ecclesiastical design, with corrugated iron roof cladding, and located on the River Avenue corner. The south end wall of the church has a gabled profile marked by fibre cement sheet cladding, presumably as an allowance for expansion.
There is a pair of vertical boarded doors in the gabled entry porch at the north end and a single door to the rear, east side. Most window openings have the pointed Gothic revival form, with two asymmetrically placed on the west and east sides. The eaves are board lined.
