Almeida Pavilion - Physical Description 1
This pavilion in the Botanical Gardens was constructed as an amusement pavilion by the City of Ballaarat with the central section containing amusement machines that could be.locked by means of shutters, which have since been removed. The seats are still existing. The building is of timber with a fibro-cement late roof; the only decoration being the turned timber work and finial.
This simple open pavilion is well sited in the gardens overlooking Lake Wendouree ..
