HOUSE - Physical Description 1
The notable feature of this house, built around the turn of the century, is the coloured glass frieze to the verandah. This highly unusual detail is carried out here in a refined manner. The red brick and plaster house appears to be in an intact condition with a pleasant recessed entrance way with leadlight windows of a .similar pattern to that of the verandah frieze. The arched entrance way is reflected in the arched recess in the gablet above the verandah line. The verandah's turned timber posts, jig saw work brackets and refined dentils add to the ornate and unusual character of the facade.
