Simpson Memorial Gates - Physical Description 1
A pair of ornate wrought iron gates, painted black. The gates are mounted as decorative items, opposite the Museum. Brass plaques to the centre of each gate read 'Royal Corps Australian Army Ordnance' and there is another brass plque to one gate which reades 'Simpson Gates 18 May 1955'.

Simpson Memorial Gates - Veterans Description for Public
The Simpson Memorial Gates, on Anderson Road, were the original gates at the entrance to South Bandiana. They are now mounted opposite the Museum and dedicated to Brigadier Simpson. The gates resemble apair of ornate wrought iron gates, painted black. Brass plaques to the centre of each gate read, 'Royal Corps Australian Army Ordnance' and 'Simpson Gates 18 May 1955'.
