Mornington War Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The Mornington War Memorial, located in the Memorial Park at Barkly and Empire Streets, commemorates the First and Second World Wars and Vietnam. It resembles a cross mounted on a three tiered base, with bronze plaques listing the names of those who served and an inscription explaining, "This Memorial Which Was Originally erected on 18th October 1925, at the intersection of Nepean Highway and Main Street Mornington, was rededicated on this site on 15th March, 1970."
