Yackandandah Army Hut - Physical Description 1
A timber-framed and corrugated iron-clad former army hut of the "P" series. The hut has a corrugated asbestos roof. To one end is written "Block 8" which would indicate that the hut was originally part of the Bonegilla army camp.

The Yackandandah Army Hut, on Kirbys Flat Road,is typical of the ex-army huts from the Bonegilla and Bandiana army barracks which were sold off after the Second World War. Many of these huts are found throughout the Shire performing a variety of functions. This hut is a timber-framed and corrugated iron-clad with a corrugated asbestos roof.
