Statement of Significance
Description: WWII POW Camp for Italian prisoners used in silvaculture and firewood cutting, now picnic grounds. Evidence includes terracing and a concrete slab which formed the floor of an ablutions block, a water race, an in-ground cement water storage tank, covered with wire chain mesh and supported by a tram rail.
