FARM BUILDING (SITE) - History
THE 1854 PLAN AND THE 1857-8 SUB-DIVISION PLAN SHOW A COLLECTION OF FARM BUILDINGS ON THE NORTH WESTERN CORNER OF PORTION 4. FROM THE PLANS, THIS SEEMS TO BE SOME FORM OF CULTIVATION AND BUILDINGS, POSSIBLY A TENANT FARM. LATER THIS GENERAL AREA WAS THE SITE OF EMMERSON'S FARM (FORD & LEWIS 1989:21).
THE SITE OF THESE BUILDINGS ARE SHOWN ON THE 1854 MAP AND ON A PLAN DATED 1857-58 IN FORD AND LEWIS (1989:10)

FARM BUILDING (SITE) - Heritage Inventory Description
The plotting of the various plans suggests that some buildings were under Bloomfield Street, and that there was a building located at the rear of 44-46 Bloomfield St, and 127-129 Raleigh Rd. It was not possible to inspect these areas from the road.
