RALEIGH MANAGER'S HOME - History
THE MANAGER'S HOUSE IS SHOWN ON THE 1854 DERBYSHIRE PLAN AND ON CONTEMPROARY ILLUSTRATIONS. IT WAS PROMINENT ON THE NORTHERN SLOPE OF THE RIDGE. THE SITE CONTAINED A HOUSE AND AN EXTENSIVE GARDEN. IT IS NOT CLEAR WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SITE.Heritage Inventory Description

Site of modern houses. The precise location of the site of the manager's house is not known as the maps overlay imperfectly on the modern plan. The area of archaeological potential includes the following address; 2-4 Grandview Ave, and 1-3 Fabian Court, Maribyrnong.
