THE 1875 PLAN HOWEVER SHOWS ONYL TWO BUILDINGS ON THE SITE. THE 1895 AND 1910 MMBW PLANS SHOW THE CURRENT BUILDING WITH A SERIES OF LONG WOODEN AND BRICK BUILDINGS AT THE REAR.Heritage Inventory Description
EARLY BUILDING (SITE) - Heritage Inventory Description
The site is currently covered by a two storeys building. The original building may be incorporated into some of the outbuildings at the rear of the site but access to this area was limited. As a registered historical building this site is protected but it should be noted that the site also has archaeological potential.
The buildings shown on the 1864 plan fronting Napier Street would have been removed by the construction of the service station currently on the site.
