Review listing of ballast mounds in inventory with view to moving them to the Shipwreck database. This is to occur November 2008. Entry 30th May 2008.
Taylor (pers comms) has reported locating a ballast mound structure approximately one kilometre south of the St Kilda Breakwater. The site is a ballast mound probably dumped overboard from an anchored or moored vessel. This provides potential evidence of the importance of this area as an early anchorage.
