DURLING HOMESTEAD - History
The present owner, Mr Paul Durling, provided seom information. His grandparents purchased the property in 1937. The house consisted of a 4-bedroom weatherboard house with Federation fretwork on the front verandah. The house was demolished 45 years afo and used for grazing since remnant planting indicate site was established around 1900.DURLING HOMESTEAD - Interpretation of Site
A former house site belonging to the Durling family. Site consists of exotic trees, historic artefacts and structural remains.

On eastern boundary of the study area, site conprises remnant exotic planting (fruit and palm); brick lind well; a mound of rubble. Site currently covered by thick grass.
