Mitcham War Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The Mitcham War Memorial, in Halliday Park on Mitcham Road, was established on 15th October 1922. The memorial consists of an Italian marble statue of a First World War Bugler mounted on a granite pedestal and bluestone base. The pedestal and base are engraved with the names of 125 fallen and returned servicemen, including those who served in the Second World War. The memorial was later rededicated to the memory of those who served in Korea, Malaya and Vietnam.
