St Thomas Soldiers Memorial and Kindergarten Hall - Veterans Description for Public
St. Thomas Soldiers Memorial and Kindergarten Hall was built in memory of 43 residents who died serving in the First World War. Included in the design of the building is the Soldiers Memorial Clubrooms. The foundation stone for the hall was laid by Major Tivey on 18th September 1920, with an inscription that reads- "They died the noblest death a man may die, fighting for god and right and liberty and such a death is immortality."
