Rutherglen Vietnam Memorial - Veterans Description for Public
The Rutherglen Vietnam Memorial, in the Memorial Park on Murray Street, comprises of a stone wall and artillery gun. The memorial is dedicated to the personal sacrifices and devotion who served the district and Australia in Vietnam between 1962-1973. The memorial was opened by Clive Mitchell-Taylor, National President of the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia, on Remembrance Day 1996.
