FORMER HARP OF ERIN HOTEL SITE - History
The hotel was established in 1847 (W. Quinn). It was also known as the Artillery, the Galatea, the Lincoln, and the Cosmopolitan. In 1853 the ratebooks note the hotel as having eight rooms.Heritage Inventory Description
FORMER HARP OF ERIN HOTEL SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
The site comprises a one storey shop, currently a florist, which is unlikely to be the original building. It is unlikely that there has been significant subsurface disturbance.
