ST MARY'S PRESPYTERY CHURCH SITE - History
In 1842 a small wooden chapel was built along Yarra Street. In 1854 foundations were laid for a larger church which is the existing church (although stalled in 1856 for seventeen years). An 1866 map shows three buildings at the corner of Myers and Yarra which no longer existHeritage Inventory Description
