FORMER PRINCE OF WALES HOTEL SITE - History
Licensed to Alexander McGilivray in 1849. The 1865 ratebooks note the hotel as consisting of a bar, twenty five rooms and stables. The building was renovated again in 1935 and 1948.Heritage Inventory Description
FORMER PRINCE OF WALES HOTEL SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
The site is currently occupied a collection of small retail shops and take away shops. There is little indication of subsurface disturbance.
