Statement of Significance
What is significant?
This avenue of oak trees extends along Alford Street from Hope Street in the west to Victoria Street in the East. These trees are estimated to have been planted in circa 1910.
How is it significant?
This avenue of oaks is significant for aesthetic and scientific reasons at a Statel level.
Why is it significant?
This is a marvellous avenue of oaks, lining a residential street in Warragual. It is the only known street of its kind in the local area. The avenue makes a contribution to the surrounding street-scape being uniform in size and shape the length of the avenue.
