25 PATTERSON STREET SITE - History
Documentary evidence shows the site was occupied in the mid-late 19th century as a slaughterhouse and piggery (and farm in the early 20th). The southern corner of the site contains the largest number of artefacts (although the middle of the site has not been tested to date), which represent mostly domestic use.Heritage Inventory Description
25 PATTERSON STREET SITE - Heritage Inventory Description
The consists site is an open paddock with two dams, one in the northern corner of the site and the other in the southern side. A dirt track is located across the site and is utilised by the public. The site is adjacent to the Heathcote Golf Club.
