STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE - BELLARINE HERITAGE STUDY RECORD SHEET NO 95
Anderson Reserve is believed to have been gazetted after WW2 and named after a local land owner. It is between the Esplanade and Port Phillip Bay and contains exotic and native plant species.
Anderson Reserve has aesthetic, historic and social value to the Indented Head community because it is associated with a local family and it provides a public recreational parkland which has high visual qualities with the views along the shore line and across the Bay.
It is of LOCAL cultural significance
