Statement of Significance
"Anna House", formerly "Tyntynda", at 10 Athol Street, Moonee Ponds was in existence in 1886. It is important as a comparatively rare bluestone villa in the Municipality. Enriched by the use of ornamental brickwork and especially fine cast iron work (Criteria B and E). The combination of bluestone and polychrome brickwork is unusual (Criterion B).

TYNTYNDA (FORMER) - Physical Description 1
A single storeyed tuck pointed bluestone ltallanate villa with cream brick dressings, faceted window bay and timber posted verandah with cast iron lace to the facade and return elevations. There is a high bluestone plinth and the cast iron balustrade panels are unusually fine. The frieze has cream brick brackets with fielded alternating cream and red brick panels in between.
