The Belmont Heights Neighbourhood Park fronting Regent and Amundsen Streets is aesthetically significant at the LOCAL level. It demonstrates important visual qualifies in the substantial exotic trees located on the site.The Belmont Heights Neighbourhood Park fronting Regent and Amundsen Streets is historically significant at a LOCAL level. It is associated with the Belmont Heights Estate subdivision of 1913. The name of the park is a legacy of this subdivisional development.

DESCRIPTION
This neighbourhood park front Regent and Amundsen Street is characteristic by an open, grassed playground and substantial trees that form significant urban foci in the surrounding area. There are four substantial trees native to Queensland, two pine trees, two silky oak trees and six exotic comprising two cypress trees, two palm trees and single pepper and pine trees. The park is also the location of a Moonah-Meleleuca tree, being the last stand of this type of tree that once grew naturally in Belmont. Some public seating and children's play equipment are located within the park.
