Vida St and Knight St - Physical Description 1
Taken from City of Moonee Valley Heritage Review Stage 3:
The HO5 Area displays a range of pre-dominantly Inter War houses with emphasis on timber Californian Bungalows and some later brick Inter War houses. They consist mostly of double fronted houses in timber or brick. They are generally single storey. Roofs consist of large tiled terra cotta gables. Houses are made of timber or red brick with boxed timber sliding sash windows in pairs of two and three. Designs are asymmetrical with a verandah to one side of the door and a projecting gable to the other. Gable ends are usually adorned with timber strapping or shingles.

Taken from Essendon Conservation Study:
A stuccoed Italianate, hipped-roof mansion of two storeys with a two-level return cast-iron verandah which is terminated by two protruding bays, at the east and north: a parapeted tower rises over the latter. Ornament is restrained with duplex eaves-brackets, interspersed with rosettes; balustrading in the parapet and balconettes; and string impost mouldings which circumnavigate the house.
